The foundation is still the same 5 drivers = our bass heavy design, Hence the name "Dulce Bass"
There are some changes in the product line up, the most obvious in the shell housing.
The Savant is still the Savant
The Trident is still a V shaped 3 driver
the Savannah is a balanced, to flat, to reference, to clinical type sound (much like the N4)
The Dulce Bass = 5 driver bass focused type sound (much like the N5)
Django = 6 driver, good highs, strong bass (much like the N6)
As stated before the foundation/Building blocks are the same with some "tweaking."
The K10 has not been altered
As far as discussing the differences, in order to do that, I'd have to discuss the internal original design, then I'd have to discuss what was tweaked etc etc. We don't disclose the specifics of our internal designs, and I don't know of any company that does so.
This is a not a 2nd order to a 4th order crossover design change. These are slight to mild adjustments. I don't want this growing into a TOTAL overhaul of the Noble Product line. As it is not. The shell housing, isn't even a total over haul.
We still rely on the 2 pin socket (as it has served us well). We still use ABS plastic, although more aesthetically refined, we still use Knowles drivers/dampers etc etc. The Face Plate/Cap is aluminum CNC and color coded to represent the model (rather than screws). The canal portion of the ABS shell is a touch longer than the first generation ABS shell.
Basically this is Gen 2 of the standard product line up, with some internal adjustments made. These adjustments could be wiring method, changed dampers, to damperless design, or driver replacement (although the drivers will still remain with in the same family class).
