Introducing the HIFIMAN Sundara Closed-Back

Inflated msrp is Hifiman's signature. Having said that, I think sundara cb is a bargain based on current price. A planar closed back with wood cups for like $150 usd is awesome.

I actually got them for about $110 with shipping in the Hifiman store spring sale. A real steal.

As far as I know meze is dynamic driver thats warm and a bit dark in tonality. Basically the opposite of sundara cb. So you might not like sundara cb from any source. I "warm" my pair with ef499 nos dac and a tube preamp. But they still sound far from a typical warm, dynamic. Probably not your cup of tea.

I'm - no pun intended - warming up to them. They just need the Hiby R5 II's Class A Amp and high gain.
