Late (as usual), but here is my review of the Drop x Ety ERX. I was impressed with the sound signature, even with the extraordinarily long nozzle (and Ety "trademark" it seems).

Single BA iems are not capable of producing real bass, sorry.
I was fine with this kind of sound 10 or so years ago, but this day and age i know better and will never go back.

Exactly. Though my main gripe of the etys will always be their collapsed soundstage.

My Fitear F111 was basically an shallow fit Etymotic er4 and it failed to compare to a well tuned dynamic driver like my FDx1 in terms of instrument "weight" and natural bass.

An ER-4XR with a shallow fitting tip would achieve the same purpose.
