Here I present you with the world premiere review of the ERX.

It is really good, this is going to sell extremely well.

Reference tuning, accurate tonality, excellent technicalities for the category and still musical and engaging.

This is now my new mid price reference for reviewing.

Hey guys! Here's my review of DROP x Etymotic ERX, with graphs, comparisons and insight into how it fares against the classic legend - ER4XR.

Single BA iems are not capable of producing real bass, sorry.
I was fine with this kind of sound 10 or so years ago, but this day and age i know better and will never go back.
Exactly. Though my main gripe of the etys will always be their collapsed soundstage.

My Fitear F111 was basically an shallow fit Etymotic er4 and it failed to compare to a well tuned dynamic driver like my FDx1 in terms of instrument "weight" and natural bass.

An ER-4XR with a shallow fitting tip would achieve the same purpose.
