HD598 wiring is balanced. You just need to buy a balanced cable, no need for mod. I am going to buy one of these based on the DAP I am going to buy soon.

Oh, realy ? I am so surprised! Does this balanced cable (the one sold at amazon) really work with the Sennheiser HD 598? Certainly will buy one if it can work!!! Thanks!

Has anyone been able to get the Hiby R6 Pro in their hands yet? The paper specs seems amazing, but the true comparison can only be made after one really uses it.

Finally got it in today after sitting way too long in a USPS facility.:rage:

Anyway, it's a very nice player that feels good in the hand and has some neat features as well as lack thereof. First I noticed the 3.5 jack is a bit of a tight squeeze but I don't know if that is a good or bad thing.
Also, the next and last track button seems flipped, at least to what I'm used to. Lastly, there is no 'hold' like there is on my Sony A45 which is kinda sad. I can see accidentally hitting the power/volume button on accident in my pocket. Maybe I'm wrong about this.

Yes .. mine took almost 10 days to get to me too. Really enjoying the M5s .. hopefully musictek get some cases for these soon as I am little tired of babying them so that I do not scratch anything. The 3.5mm jack seems fine on mine ... could it be your headphone tip is fatter than normal?

No, it's the hole, not the plug.

Mine was a bit tight on both the single end and balanced. Not a big deal. Just make sure you don't force it the first time. A gentle twist is all it needs. It is good after that.

Hiby R6 Pro seems to be a nice product. But unless you seriously want some android features, you have to pay much extra more for the “enough powerful” processor to run android 8.1:frowning2: ! To me pure music is the key point. No need some useless android stuffs though!

I have not tried the Hiby R6. Some one in here said that the Sahnling M5s' tonality can be compared to R6 more or less. To me, the closest DAP to the M5s is Sony ZX300, (which sound is less dynamic ,less musical than the M5s:ksc75smile:)
