@Shanling Can I report a possible bug with the USB DAC input for the M30? I wanted to observe, wait and see for a few weeks of using the USB DAC. What i have noticed is that the USB DAC will stop working intermittently and randomly. There seems to be no real pattern. What i have to do to get it to work again is to switch to another input and then switch back to USB DAC again. Not fatal but annoying and bad for my old knees since I have to get up from my sofa to switch. Though I suppose I should see if I can do that with your app next time it happens. :)

@Shanling Quick Q: i also noticed that the wireless projection on the Eddict app does not work when the M30 goes into screensaver mode, is there a workaround? Thanks!

Did you test it with normal computer running Mac or WIndows? USB DAC support on iOS is tricky and not something we are really testing.

By screensaver, you mean when the screen turns off?

Yes. with normal portable dac/amp for iPhone and iPad . no issues....

yes, screen turns off.

I hear you @Whitigir ! But in a sense its like the struggles that everyone went through with the M8 earlier. I am fortunate in that it is just part of the rotation. And still has good use cases for me at this stage.

And do we just accept the fact that they get away with this attitude and handling every time? That they repeat the same thing with every product and let the customers pay for their mistakes? They even repeat the same bugs! It is like a bad joke! It is several weeks now and we don't have the slightest idea about when those silly issues will be solved and we don't even know if they will be properly addressed. If something slips, again wait for weeks or maybe months for it to be fixed.

20-40% seems to be the ideal setting.

Thanks Vince! But it says that the new version is still version 1.1. It’s another quirk or bug of the M30, I fear.

@Shanling : another bug report. See above.
