Eddict player not stable enough for me
Occasionally lost connections

Rarely happens to me though. But well… so many possible factors.

I'm using simple bluetooth remote to control volume, play/pause, fw & rw
It makes M30 much more enjoyable to use

Can you tell me exactly how to do this? What Bluetooth Remote do you use and does it work with Apple IOS from Iphone? Can two tell me how to do that? Thanks in advance.

Any bluetooth remote that support android will work
Just connect remote via bluetooth with M30 and it work just like your TV remote, no need to use iphone
It's so convenience, no need to open my phone to change volume or pause, skip, play my music

Hey guys I just got my new amp 2 module for my M30 and wanted to know how to configure it. I installed it with no problem but do I need to update the firmware or reset the device or something? It plays but it doesn’t seem any louder than the original and the low end has disappeared now. It has lost that dark Shanling house sound. So perhaps there is something I’m missing. Please let me know what to do. Thank you in advance. Also does it need burn in for the low frequencies to come to life? Thank you again.

Hi, there is no special firmware for the module, it's just hardware part.

Maybe check what gain setting you are running at.

I use turbo gain but when I turn it on it shows Turbo but is at a low volume. Then as I switch it back to low then medium and then high and finally back to Turbo. Is there a firmware to fix this? Also I replied to the email and sent the $100 in PAYPAL for the Volume nob for the M30 and the replacement battery for the M8. Please let me know when it will ship. Thank you so much @Shanling

I see, this is bug in M30 firmware, it wasn't fixed so far.

Hi @Kiats i got my DMP-Z1 back two weeks ago. So pleased to have it back & fixed.

I haven’t used my Shanling M30, since, of course i will be, when i can drag myself away from my DMP.

I’m close to pulling the trigger on the Sennheiser HD800S for use with both, of course.

I see you own them. What’s your thoughts about them & for usage on both players ? ( I was initially only considering to buy a closed back headphone. )

Hmm… I enjoy the M30 because of its nutube output as well as the ability to stream directly from the M30 itself. The M30 is good for me since I can use it as a source for my other amps as well. Or directly because of the wide range of HP output from the unit itself. And of course, the power from the new amp module works well for me because of my more difficult to drive HPs. It also offer the flexibility to input a digital signal and leverage off the DAC on the M30, whether analog Signal directly out from the M30 or as an analogue signal into another amp. The M30 comes with so many options, plus there are various choices for the amp: SS, nutube or bypass. So many choices.

The DMP has its own charms. Great sound. But more limited in its connectivity as well as its power output.
