In my opinion, go for it if you have multiple use cases and want bluetooth connectivity. Or else, one can opt for standalone dongles from Shanling. The UA3 and UA5 still are some of the best dongles one can buy.

Shanling is 1 of rare which make more warm enjoying sound signature for pleasure not for crap monitor studio critical listening which normal people who need relax with good music not need sterile lean analitical sound without soul and emotion like tube amp can make..Shanling need deskop mode for battery dac amp and eq with akm dac and will be victorious and sell many more...90% of brands make competition whick male better SNR with ess and ess sabre and thx linear sound with zero musicality...omg instead make option buy something with good technicalities but forgiving smoother warmer sound...nowadays is very difficult to find dac amp like this and only tube amp is some cure but we would like portable dac amp which same character and shanling h5 is in right way but please give us deskop mode or battery stop charging at 80% option when use like deskop device....you will sell more %...please listen costumer like qudelix make best features which us need...this will be real game changer ...

Thank you got it working. However i have to say the dynamics are lacking a bit on the H2. I was hoping it would at least sound close to the UA3. Perhaps a FW upgrade can do some magic? A bit to digital glare no matter the filter used.

Shanling you must to stay with akm magic and you house sounds...you can have magic only partner with akm!

got the H2 today. The feature to listen to sd card (not bluetoothed music) while being controlled by the phone is attractive to me. H2 in my right pocket and my phone on my left. It’s surprising how inexpensive it is for what it gives.
