Use the Chinese version 5.0.1.10. www.lotoo.cn/page/Default.asp?pageID=20

Do not update to 5.0.1.10, especially if you use CUE files. On my unit that version seem to fail at reading CUE files, and in one case it even causes the unit to lock up requiring a hard reset.
 
I have since downgraded to 5.0.1.9, which work correctly for the same files.

Aliexpress seems to be the way to get one but they dont take paypal even though it shows they do and i am having a real problem putting payment through to them. on their website it states its going through then says it fails and you have to do the same thing again. 5 times this happened. also the website shows a design your own case with lovely colours and textures of leather to choose but this is disabled also. So i have wasted about 5 hours on this sxxxxxxxxt

I wish I could help. I have the Dignis case, and I like it a lot, but they're impossible to find now.  A few weeks ago Dulty contacted Dignis directly and was told they weren't selling them anymore.  Have you tried Taobao?  Seems they have a few.  Not the easiest way to order, but I've had success buying there in the past.

Many thanks jazzi. At the moment the lpg has just been delivered to me and i cant put it down. I think i might just wrap it in kidgloves its so beautiful.

LOL I know what you mean @spitfire777 it's so nice without the case, if you trust yourself, just use it as is. Check this out:
 

 
That's a Pelican 1010 (thank you Noble), almost perfect fit with the case on, without the case the length is perfect, needs a thin layer of foam on the top or bottom to stop it moving about. Even without the addition of the foam I don't think there's any chance of damage, it doesn't move about too much.
 
So you can try no case during use and mega safe Peli for transport.

The noble case is brilliant. I am using my k10u case fits like a glove. Thank you dulty. No need for a leather case now so chuffed with the otter box from noble. Just down loaded latest firmware and am buzzing with excitement. Shows so much more authority than the qp1r which is an excellent player. One song did it for me as the decider which is senses working over time by XTC. To hear the deep base and the drumming on this song is amazing. Anyway back to work with my golden brick.
