At first glance, with 3 dynamic drivers and a passive radiator, one might think that these are IEMS for bassheads. But not so, the DZ4s are more balanced and enjoyable than I thought they would be. They have clarity in the mid-highs and a smooth treble extension tendency, pleasant and fatigue-free.
On the other hand, I love the matt surface of the inside of the capsule...

Letshuoer DZ4 graph via IEC711 coupler. 8 kHz is a coupler artefact peak.

This is a very interesting 3DD + 1PR (passive radiator) IEM.

What is a passive radiator then?
The Passive Radiator (PR) driver (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Passive_radiator_(speaker)) is a unique transducer type, where it is placed in the same acoustic chamber as another "working" driver. The PR has has no voice coil or magnet, and isn't hooked up to an electrical circuit or other amplifier.

So when the other "working" driver vibrates and generates sound waves, the PR also catches these waves and vibrates at its own resonance (usually at the bass frequencies). In a way, it reduces the effort of the "working" driver, as the PR is utilizing unused byproduct sound waves to move.

Indeed, the DZ4 is able to reach quite low in sub-bass (I measured the DZ4 reaching 20 Hz on a test-tone - this frequency band is more felt as a visceral sensation in the chest than heard).

This technology is used in speakers, where it is useful in smaller acoustic chambers where there is insufficient space for venting. The recent Simgot EA2000 utilizes this driver, and now it is also in the DZ4. Listening impressions to follow soon.

very refreshing drivers implementation.....and musicality. gotta love 3DDs even if i was sceptikal 3x6mm dds will lack layering edge or sens of excitment, its quite the opposite, we have the cohesivness of timbre here and excellent holographic layering: intimate-your in the band with (female) singer at your side-way.
about the price its suppose to be sub-100$

well, said, me too i was pleasantly surprise....and the graph confirm why, good balance right there for sure though im not sure to hear this 15khz brilliance sparkle spike....perhaps more burn in!
but ok...its strange to say but its like if Penon Serial and UM 3DT got a baby and well, feed it with sub100$ food lol not in the sens its bad technically, just not 300-400$ mind blown, its more the tactile holographic and lush tonality that charm my ears here. no thin mids! dense textured bass and treble. what to ask more for this price?
one thing sure: no other IEM sound similar to those, wtv the graph say!

That’s a shame, was really hoping someone would finally make a good set with bass.
Thanks for the impressions though, at least that saved me the money.
