Who saw this coming? I just bought an HE-1000 V2 or I’e probably jump on these.

Had a few minutes on Munich High End, definitely more bass, way better build quality, slightly smaller soundstage (from memories so not that reliable)

Smaller soundstage compared to the hifiman arya V3 (stealth) or compared to the Arya V2?

Compared to the V2. I never owned any of the aryas but after my few listening sessions I found the V2 soundstage to be wider but also bit artificial. But again, this might not be very reliable scince I never owned one.

Either way the organic might be tempting. I was very happy over the much better build.

I have been considering a he1000se b-stock but these got me kinda curious. I wonder how the new nano/organic drivers will sound/perform. Wish there was some prerelease reviews out on YouTube so we could get an idea how they compare to older HiFiman models.

To be fair the Philips fidelio X2HR makes even the higher end Hifiman headphones look like cheap toys but I am ok with that because all the money goes into their amazing drivers. Though a little better QC would be nice.

Yes -- I quite like them. I once for grins A/B'ed (just a few days ago) with my Edition XX and it was super funny -- it wasn't close, of course. Funnily, I still liked the less-resolving, darker sound of the Edition XX for some music, as they were pleasant, but they were absolutely not preferable overall and were clearly less resolving. I wonder how close the Arya Organic are to the HE-1000 v2.

Yes I have had the he1000v2 for a few weeks now & it sounds excellent on the hifiman ef400 dac/amp.
