Introducing Acoustic Effect

Next week a new exciting company is going to reveal their products in Japan. I came across them by accident one night
and I have been talking to them. While they have no plan to release their product overseas as of yet they have created an English webpage.

Currently they are offering four product which can be grouped in two different way.
[COLOR=373E4D]■ Group 1[/COLOR][COLOR=373E4D]COLOR][COLOR=373E4D]Copper coil[/COLOR][COLOR=373E4D], YSM01 and YSM-03R (R stands for removal cabe)[/COLOR]
[COLOR=373E4D]Acoustic differences is created by using different coil in each model. Group one uses copper coil.[/COLOR]
[COLOR=373E4D]■ Group 2 Silver coil YSM02/S and YSM04RS (R stands for removal cable and S stands for silver cable.[/COLOR] Group two uses silver coil for its driver.

[COLOR=373E4D]As such the YSM-04RS is the flagship. No word of the pricing yet as it will be revealed next week at the fuija-avic exhibition.

I hope to see the Acoustic Effect team members active on head-fi and I am looking forward to reading about them. There is no secret about my love to all audio companies from Japan and I for one Am really excited to see what they can deliver.

Reading the specs they sound similar to the Ortofon e-Q8, we just have to wait and see. The connectors seems to be the same one Fitear uses.

Yes, the cable connection looks like it will be quite secure.

I have had much more successive success with Japan based audio than any other so I am going to take it as a positive thing.
