Question : If I use a card with music downloaded from Qobuz ( for offline listening ) , is this music playable with a DAP of L&P ?
Some questionable ideas are flooding your mind - we’ll put you on a potential DRM violators list)

No, all apps prohibit it unfortunately, usually storing music split chaotically in very small pieces on your card.

It was just a question, having never used DAP without WI-FI and streaming.
Thanks for your reply

With L&P daps it all comes down to either a local playback or using them as usb-dac (or wireless DAC with P6pro) to stream from the connected source (smartphone, laptop, etc).

I suspect that although Qobuz allows you to download into an SD card, you would need Qobuz app to play that music. It is the same with Tidal, Apple Music and Spotify.

It’s been updated to the latest FW as well? Yeah… some of us used to use it as a source for desktop rigs previously. :)
I'd certainly like to update the firmware on my P6 Pro but am concerned doing so may wind up bricking the unit after reading of jwilliamhurst's experience.

Did mine last week, all good.
Mine made it to LP in Hong Kong. Should just take a week to fix they said. So I’ll hopefully have it back with new firmware installed next week or the following.

That is a surprising event. It is literally unzip the rar file on your laptop and drop it into the root directory of the DAP and restart. None of the chaps in SG have had that issue. I myself have 3 P6Pros, 3 LP6s. All FW updates have been uneventful thus far.

Anyway, the upgrade in SQ has been pretty remarkable. :)
