Such an impressive device you have there.
Can you understand Japanese so that you are able to operate the LP6 Platinum?
Although I was once able to understand and write Japanese quite well, I have almost completely lost my ability to speak/understand Japanese.
I would be very interested to know how the LP6 influences the sound of an IEM.
Could you please share your impressions about the sound characteristics of the LP6 Platinum Japanese Edition?
Thanks!

I can only read kanji, the traditional script because that is based on the traditional Chinese script. Not the modern script. :) but that is not an issue since the UI is the same albeit in a different language. Further the LP6 has pull down menus for most of the key functions and hence very intuitive .

I will do so. I can tell you that at first impression, the P6Pro Ti ACG tuning is certainly inspired by the LP6 Platinum ACG tuning. The difference is the same as LP6 vs P6Pro: the LP6 has a grander music presentation, bigger sound stage and more note weight. I hope that with the success of the P6Pro Ti, LP will release a bigger edition of ACG tuned LP7 in due course now that they know that ACG tuning is not just a niche demand limited to the Japanese market only. :)

I agree Ti99 is in fact a great success sonically. Have you heard anything about LP7? Are they releasing this year?

Finally got a reply from L&P.

"As for E7, we want it to be perfect, so we are still in the final optimization and testing, and strive to be put on the market by the end of the year".

I assume they mean the CNY.😂

That would be optimistic. If everything went according to plan. :) I suspect more realistic to be first half of next year. Of course, supply chain and geopolitical uncertainty are other factors that will impact release date.

Yes. That would be the Lunar New Year. Will share if I see anything on the LP official Weibo blog. :)

Nice! That is one pairing I have yet to try. Will find time to try it out. Yeah… the A8000 was the first to use a beryllium DD. :)

Yeap!!! I see a lot of iem with dynamic drivers that pair exceptionally well with LP. Among them, the A8000 is a difference (speed, dynamic range, detail, stage). I think that difference comes from the pure berylium driver

Indeed! The A8000 is special. Just as how I love how the FitEar DC benefits from LP DAPs. :)

Also LP6 has reached end of life, whatever is our there once sold put, it is gone for good.
Not so sure about that. There has been no announcements about that. :) Well, it will likely continue at least until LP7 is released.

Japanese dealer announced it on twitter few days ago.

Either their dealer is misleading or its another case of LP once again didn't do too well on communication.
