So while I love the sound, I’ve been having an issue with the P6 Pro. Every time I go to directory - internal storage - open my folder, the screen just blacks out and nothing happens for a little while. I then have to click on the screen several times and press the power button to “wake it up” again

I’ve tried rescanning my library several times but it is not working either, and it is not recognizing the files on my SD card either. Anyone have any fixes for either of those issues?

Edit: I think the DAP actually restarts itself every time I try to access that folder

May I know what card you are using? I have previously encountered similar issue with Lexar card on my P6 and it resolved after changing it to SanDisk Extreme Pro.

Correct, I want the C9 for the tube, same as M30 and I can stack C9 with R8. As for P6 Pro, I’m attracted to the R2R DAC

There are differences between P6Pro and LP6. One is discrete and one is IC based. The reason why owning Both is Good!!! Lol

The discrete meant that all algorithms and DSP have to be Luxury and Precision own coding, given that they have great FPGA, I would say that you are listening to a totally proprietary in house technologies from DAP architecture, implementations, engineering’s, to DSP conversions algorithms and Software.

The IC based means that you are listening to mainly whatever made these IC chips. In this case, it is Analog Devices as someone mentioned, I couldn’t have it clarified. It may also have features that is using FPGA and pass through these IC ? I do not know, but given that LP also own the other FPGA based DAC conversion algorithms, there is no reason to not have it in LP6 also ?

The UI is simple, easy to learn, not in the way. OI other than issues with SD cards I had issues only with Kingston, no other stability issues. It has been stable. Sound is really full and detailed. For balanced drivers it is the best I have heard. Like M8 better with dynamic drivers. Just crossed 300 hours tonight.

So you already did media library update and reset the dap (click default setting under Advanced in System setting)? What brand name card are you using and was it formatted fat32? As it was already mentioned, Lexar is crap with most of the daps. FAT32 format is the safest, especially with L&P OS. For internal storage, I know you mentioned to me on messenger that you have one directory with lots of sub-dirs. Do you know how many total files you have? Just for testing, can you delete all your files from internal storage and copy a few album directories and try scanning and playing it again? I wonder if it chokes on some files it can't read, so I would just try a few directories with not too many files, just for test purpose.
