Do know you have to find the FW appropriate to the right model, eg P6Pro and P6Pro Ti will have different FW
Yep.

Yep. I meant they have updates for both models. 👍

Yeah, it is a pretty comprehensive update of FW for all the P6Pro and LP6 models. Even the exceedingly rare LP6 Platinum JP Edition has its own FW update. :)

FW 1.0.1.3 impression: Testing out the new FW on my P6 pro (grey), the bass note has stronger body, vocal slightly more intimate. I wait for LP6 Gold to be shared, as I can't find that one yet.

I notice a bug: The screen flickers now that I run my fingers across the screen, I'm sure LP will fix that.

For some reason, none of the firmware updates will work for me. It is just copying the firmware into my music directory....I have never had this problem before...can anyone help?

1.Dont copy in music directory, put it in the internal storage, no folder. Make sure to unzip first.
2.Restart the player.

Lp6 update: The biggest improvement is noticeable on the 4.4mm port. I feel 3.5mm became too laid back. P6 pro improvement is much more noticeable. LP6 was already quiet clean sounding, and while I notice quiet background, the improvement is not as noticeable compared to P6 pro.

This makes me feel that LP has really mastered Discrete R2R and LP7 should be really epic.

I’ve done this before so many times but this time for whatever reason when I plug my P6pro into my MacBook Air I only get a music drive. I have no where else to put the file… image.jpg

Try removing your microSD card, see if that changes anything? Maybe restart your mac? I'm not a mac user, I would have loved to try it on my end.

Yeah I have tried it all, nothing works. I suppose no update for me.

So I was able to get the p6pro to allow the newest firmware update but once I selected yes, it will not restart and now will not turn back on....Any ideas what I should do?

Hold the power button until it restarts.
You would think this would work, but I held it for 5min straight and nothing...full battery. This is the most frustrating FW upgrade in my entire audiophile lifetime.
