Thats not the point. I just said that i couldn't imagine that a device in this price range only offer 96KHz in USB DAC mode.

I've been watching the project for a while and I feel the same way.

Most of the DAPs in my collection are obscure older units which cost a few hundred dollars. More than half of them allow you to sort files any way you wish, accurately show battery levels, support exFat, and have gapless playback. The discrepancy between the P6/P6 pro's hardware sophistication and lack of firmware sophistication is baffling considering the price being charged. Even Cayin's original N6, which was made 7 years ago when they were a much smaller company, does all of these things with ease.

It's too bad because I love L&P's ambition with this product line. Here's hoping they can take advice and make the 'P7' series a complete product.

Don’t forget Cayin isn’t a small brand and was born on 1993, almost 30 years ago.
First Dap was released on 2013

And they work together with HiBy which gives them a huge software advantage.

L&P is folks from Colorfly, so less than 10 years? Like Cayin, L&P focuses on sound critical hardware which I really appreciate.

Yes, if I remember correctly they started on 2014, but looks weird P6 pro doesn’t support higher resolution through usb… did you check with lastest FW update or asked them? contact@luxuryprecision.net

I have already changed 2 micro sd's: Both formatted to Fat32, but when I put them in LP6 it doesn't read them.
What can I do ?

You can insert mico SD to LP6 and format it on LP6. After that, copy music to card anh chill.

I'm looking for a new DAP and P6 Pro is a candidate.. (Sold my WM1Z some time ago and are looking for something new..
Has anyone experience with VE8, LegendX, Zeus XIV, or MDR-Z1R on this DAP?

Would be interesting to hear if anyone have any comments on synergy and overall sound with these CIEM:s and Z1R

Also, how long would the battery last for bluetooth connection streaming? (planning S21 bluetooth LDAC - > P6 Pro

In my experience the BT battery life was really good, with the screen is off it's almost the same as without BT. LDAC works fantastically on P6P.

Sorry I haven't tried those IEMs with the P6 Pro, but in my opinion the P6P works well with almost everything.

Last night I wanted to stream from an iPhone to the LP6 Ti 7th AE and couldn't get it to work. I "think" I remember in the past with the P6 Pro that I connected the iPhone to the P6 Pro with a lighting to USB C cable and change the settings to USB Audio via
System settings -> Advanced -> USB Connection mode -> USB Audio

I had the iPhone connected to Roon but the music would only play out the phones speaker and didn't work with the LP6 Ti 7th AE.

Am I overlooking something obvious? Do I need a special cable?

I'm considering LP P6 Pro as my next DAP. Has anyone here had the Cayin N6ii-Ti / N6ii with R01 so as to compare the two? - a big jump up in price. I don't stream at all and rather not use Android, plus chasing the never-ending SQ improvements, and I hear it's a great match with Traillii :)
