Integrated amp or receiver for under $200?

It was available in the US....up til a couple of months at J&R. Got mine for $175.00 shipped.

I prefer JVC's warmer sounding amp section to the Panny's. The built-in DAC thru the optical input sounds pretty good. It also has a USB input too.

Completely agree with those two options

- vintage receiver (a venerable option with great bang for your buck especially since non-AV oriented models are now bargains)

- digital amp (just picked up a panny - razor sharp but not bright - completely blown away at that price point)

either way is a smart move
