I've been looking at buying a portable amp for my iPod. I've mostly been looking at some starter amps, and I don't think I want to be spending more on a line out cable then on the amp.

To fit my case, the dock connector cannot be any larger than the stock ipod connector. Is there any place I can find a line out dock with integrated 3.5mm plug for ~$20-30US? Or is the only option to try and make one myself? Thanks in advance,

Jordan

You can take a look at ALO, but their dock will be expensive.
I'd suggest you to send TURBO a PM. He custom makes mini-mini cables and ipod line out dock which mini plug or jack. I own one and it's fantastic.
Of course that a quick search will return you a bunch of options ...

Qables has an option up top to change the currency to U.S. dollars.

I may have found the cable I'm going to get. The Sik Ram Din:

It only costs $21.95. The only annoying part is the firewire cable, but I could remove it if I got too annoyed with it. It also looks like it uses the slim dock connector, so it should fit my case fine. But they want $16 to ship to Canada through USPS. I sent them an email, so'll I'll see if I can get cheaper shipping or not.

They handed out free ones at the 2007 National (you need your own mini-mini).

That fit nicely in my budget. I forgot who donated them...sorry.
