they are very good indeed, but they lose their shape very quickly and become unusable. Have you tried Tri Clarion?

Xelastec are fine but I've noticed it depends on the IEM used.
What I mean by that is that I believe that sub-bass frequencies are being relayed in part by the tip. Eg (I think) I noticed that a softer silicon than Xelastec's reproduces more subbass in some IEMs depending also on those IEMs' energy.
I keep Xelastec tips on my MEXT but I wouldn't prefer them to other softer silicon tips for bass lighter units.

Update: got email from Bob, seems everything is ok. Waiting for new updates :)

Edp Ace and Halcyons are the only IMR in my collection and the only cheap ones left.

Had my hands over Fir Xenon6 recently - that has some of the greatest imr-like sound, with great weight to bass like old-school IMR Aten driver, but impact is even better than recent IMR models.

It would be strange to hear something worse for such a money :)
