I would appreciate it if you could please share your thoughts on how long it should take for sellers to ship items after payment is received.
I really value the input of all headfiers interested in participating, as many of us are involved in buying and selling stuff here.

As a seller, I generally ship same or next business day.

As a buyer, I'm ok waiting up to two days after payment sent, unless the seller already disclosed shipping constraints... like they can only ship Tuesdays, for example.

When trading, I'm ok with the slowest shipping method as long as tracking comes within a day or two.

I buy and sell a fair amount, more on Reverb than here, but generally as a standard issue 40 hour week working stiff I have a hard time imagining why a seller shouldn't be able to ship by the weekend at the latest... but not everyone is the same as me. I always personally bend over backwards to ship as quickly as humanly possible, but I also live in a mid size American city, so it's not hard for me.

I think communication is really the key point, but also trust. As long as people are open and up front about expectations to me it's all good. Just my 2 cents

3 days max for anyone, even a casual seller to get an item shipped out. I've had sellers who took longer if they had a day job and took extra time, but never more than 5 days. Longer than that and something is wrong.

Honestly most people selling/trading here are fairly friendly, and not volunm sellers. I have not had a bad experience yet. Shipped in a day or two.

I ship same day as payment or next day.

I always ship with tracking and signature required and I chose the second fastest option most of the time.

As a seller i ship same day or next day.
When buying i think 2 days maximum is reasonable, unless the seller has communicated otherwise before the payment was done.
