Well, the title says it all. Basically, I have a 150 budget want a quality pair of headphones. Most of the music I listen to is rock, electronic, and very little rap. I do have a high taste for bass and that is what I'm looking for, but honestly a full sound, that I can hear a good balance of the guitars and the bass will work as well. Any other questions that you would like to ask to help you guys out feel free.
 
Oh and my music is coming out of a computer and Ipod, and rarely a mixing board.

The ATH-M50. Good bass and a great all rounder for the cost. They also don't need an amp.

The Denon 1100 or the older 1001 would also work well.

But not the same housing or padding.  These would effect the sound sig of the headphone just like the driver would.

Not a lot. It might change comfort and seal, but they should be easy to fix.

I guess I'm going to go with the ATH M50s, I do wear glasses, so would it cause much of an issue. And then, what kind of amp do I need, if it is even necessary?

I dont think you will have issues with the m50's...oh and they work well without amps.

The AIAIAI TMA-1 are those good, should I spend the extra 50 or so dollars to get those instead, or just stick with ATH M50

i ve tried M50 and TMA-1 and preferred the M50 straight..
dont like the overly bassy sig of the TMA-1
