Yes V2.32.9

This update adds Airplay 2 to the Zen Stream and also some optimizations for CPU during device operations.

The last time I tried to install an update it crashed and had to have firmware reloaded. Mr BubbaHyde saved me that time but wouldn't want to do it again. Is there a good and solid procedure for loading the update?

Just use your browser or Stream ifi app,

I did the update no issues took like two minutes, I use a wired connection so after downloading and update, the ifi.local went away and reappeared.

Shouldn't be an issue

the sound depends on the entire system and the room, but a good combination is, for example, Sbooster mk2 + ifi zs + teddy pardo dac, all together is approx. 100 0 euros used or instead of teddy parado, questyle cas 192d dac, it is approximately 1300 euros and a spdif cable, for example xlo 4.1 signature, taralabs rsc air 75... all together is less than 1500

When I tried ZS plus Zen DAC2 I found it a tad harsh, what is your favourite streamer+DAC combo or all in one? Budget $1500, thanks!

I use the Zen Stream with a Chord TT-2, there is zero harshness and it sounds fabulous, it can also be upgraded further by using a Chord M Scaler, it sounds sublime.

No issues other than re-directed to Spidif.

Bifrost 2/64 had to be re-entered.

Also all software options had to be closed out.

I use Tidal Connect.

Using USB rescan. No problem.

Sound appears same-clear/good sound stage/full range. Sound stage has depth.

Tube preamp/SS power amp. Optical moat.

Will stream from external server manana!

I have collection of spdif-s from some previous converters that didn't have usb, with usb cables I almost don't hear the difference, that's why I have one aqvox excel only for the reason that the exogal comet converter seems to work a little better via usb connection, for other converters I use spdif

Question is to GuiltyRocker but I use USB out to DAC which uses upgraded Unison input (Schitt Bifrost 2/64).

I was told v2.32.9 it's a beta...

hank you for contacting us about your ZEN Stream.

The Beta Firmware is still in Beta and shouldn't be used really. I would ask that you reinstall V2.31.7 and your issues should be resolved.

I don't get it!
I don’t understand why they pushed the v2.32.9 firmware version online?
The Check Updates operation should only be able to obtain GA versions

v2.32.9 problems I found:
1. no DoP in DSD playback mode
2. volume control not working

How can I revert back to v2.31.7 version?
