Even my reset procedure is not working this time...

So until I get a working solution, for the time being, unless I have a definitive answer for you guys, I'll have to hang back and wait till I get this going!

Seems like using "cover.jpg", "Cover.jpg", etc. fixed the issue.

Just to clarify, you had to add the .jpg bit to the file name and that did the trick?

There are about 200 folders on the disk, and zen loads 20 of them and stops, similar happened on Pi2aes with RPI4 until the last upgrade of volumio but last upgrade on Zen was 10 months ago. It is not clear to me how nobody noticed this until now and that it was sent for sale without being tested.

I'm not sure why your ZS is only loading 20, here are screenshots of the way my folder structure is, and my ZS had no issue loading all of them. There is about 76gb on a T5 Samsung SSD.

Perhaps some info about your drive and the structure inside it would be helpful to solve your issue.

I'm a bit busy with the holidays and all, but I will give it a more serious look after that, and also give a shout out to support, just to see if they can't get me back up and in the game, lol!

It was bound to happen sooner or later with all the resets and tests.

This issue might be related to the drive itself, I think. @twrr is there a way you can use a different drive and see what happens?

Which power supply do you have with your ZS? Also, what is the format being used for the drives?

Ifi Elite 12V and Sbooster Mk2 12-12.5,13.2 but as a said i think that volumio is the problem. Can you try with 500 gb full disk?

I wouldn't have that level of GB to test that, but others here have had that and had no issues.

Can you post any screenshots from the app specifically under the Albums and Artists tab to show us where it's hanging up at?

My ZS is down at the moment, so I'm not much help there, but again I'll ask about the drive formatting.
