If you ever figure it out, I am certainly interested in what they found was the issue. As I have said many times, networks baffle me and can sometimes be causing issues unseen to others, and not experienced by others.Xfinity, on try 3 fixed it - not sure how, and they were mum on what they did.

Might have been specific to me. They screwed up my 3 new iPhone order and my wife ended up with the bigger 13, and I got the little Mini. I'm a near giant, so the mini is too mini, so they switched the lines, the chips, but we had some strange problems afterwards with mixed up texts, and texts not working. They fixed that, but, something else was askew IMO, and even after a full refresh, iFi not working. Then a quick change of something - the MAC address was the last thing the tech talked about before the fix. So who knows? They probably figure a little information is bad for people to have.If you ever figure it out, I am certainly interested in what they found was the issue. As I have said many times, networks baffle me and can sometimes be causing issues unseen to others, and not experienced by others.
I know in my Xfinity network I don't even used their WiFi, in fact the modem Is in bridge mode.
Good luck, hope you enjoy it!
Cheers!!
Well as I have said many times, I am boo computer guru, in fact the exact opposite! LolOK, so earlier today I got into ifi, named my own set up everything, and then - windows 11 did a large update, complained the site was metered, I changed that not - the update worked and I'm dead again. I also tried to set it for TIDAL "3".
Since then, I reset, and I guess that really resets because on the PC the name is not "IFI" and not what I gave it. Sadly and much worse the error of unsecured network is happening again. I toggle the metering and the public vs private network - so all 4 combos, and I'm still stuck.
Anyone got an idea, I'm game.
ADD: I think part of my issue is my browser - Firefox.
More: "Connection not secure". best guess: it's because the site doesn't have a certificate and one of my anti-virus tools is resetting the security. Any comments?

USB sockets are fairly resilient in general, but if a cable gets pushed too hard too many times, eventually a joint or two on the motherboard may get damaged. So yes, USB cables shouldn't be pushed forcefully, but that aside, was our support able to help out your friend? As a warning to other ZS users, be cautious plugging in the USB cord!

Yes. They took the unit in, but are charging him for a new motherboard, which he is not too pleased about especially since just out of warrantyUSB sockets are fairly resilient in general, but if a cable gets pushed too hard too many times, eventually a joint or two on the motherboard may get damaged. Thank you. I tried it with the Zen Stream and with the Hegel H120, integrating Quobuz and Tidal. Seems to work well and the SQ is fine. I'm using Roon but it's good to know that there's more upnp streaming Apps coming into the market. CheersHere is a tip for everyone using Mconnect on ios as a controller for streaming Qobus (or Tidal). Use the new Jplay app instead. Much better user-experience and SQ. It's subscripion based. First 14 days free, then $50 a year. Totaly worth it instead of using the glitchy Mconnect app.
