5.30:
But your remark led me to your download page and I've seen 7.0c is already out. I'm gonna update and report back if this fixes the issue.
As a little sidenote, your firmware update process is a little unintuive, I had no idea I had to go all the way into the Program Files folder to find the updater. This would've been neat to have in the Control Panel as well, since I expected it to have everything I need to keep my device updated (or at least show me how to do it).
EDIT:
Alright, no idea what I did but I guess I ruined everything. I misread the serial number on the backside of my device, which happened to be lower than the required one for 7.0 after all. Despite the claim of "No damage will ensure as the incorrect firmware will only fail to upload," the firmware uploaded without issues, but I had to set my sample rate to 44.1KHz or 88.2KHz for some reason, as with others I'd simply get no sound (and the LED would turn from Green to Light Blue).
Furthermore, and this is truly worrisome, the control panel claims there is no longer any device connected:
It is though, and Windows still recognizes it and music can also still be played fine:
Still not showing up after restarting Windows or updating the Windows Drivers, either.
I'm sorta freaked out now... it didn't brick the device and I can at least still enjoy music without issues, but I still got a gut feeling I locked myself out of any further updates by misreading the stupid serial number.
And to add insult to injury, the half-second silence before sound starts is still present.
