Yeah looks like that just hoping to confirm from a user
The other option I’m keeping is getting the newly released fiio k7 but I wanna stay a bit more portable with the BL ( already hunting deals for that guy let’s see what I can get )
BL on the used market is a good idea. They seem to be going for good pricing lately, just make sure the battery has a bit of life left to it, and the unit is fully working.

I have to say that micro iDSD BLs aged very well, so getting one used is a nice plan indeed for folks who want a powerful DAC/amp that runs on batteries and can drive almost everything
Is anyone successfully using this DAC with modern Android 13 phones/tablets (USB-C)?
Broken for me. I've tried it on a Pixel 6A and a Tab S8 Ultra 5G both on Android 13 with Roon ARC or UAPP apps.
By broken, I mean, (if I can get it to connect at all) I might get a couple of minutes of playback max, I get flooded with USB permission requests, it's like USB disconnects and reconnects in a loop, the screen going to sleep kills it as well.
The DAC works fine on Windows/Mac with the same cables.
The Black Label is better in the bass department but that just might be the brute force compared to the Gryphon. It just dominates in that aspect due to the sheer power.
X3D is pretty much even and tonally I prefer the Black Label but won't be selling the Gryphon anytime soon.
The Gryphon is better for IEMs and the Black Label for headphones of pretty much all power requirements.
