Thanks. Considering all the feedback about micro iDSD BL today, I have to say that it aged very well over the years, which is very cool from our perspective. It really is!

This time add Bluetooth, bigger battery, GaN charger and possibly a display similar to the Gryphon. Dont remove any existing features but improve the 3.5mm input power handling as it clips very easily.

Basically the best of the BL and the Gryphon.

I hear you, but we have micro iDSD Signature and iDSD Diablo, and these two are essentially our takes on products above the original micro iDSD BL.

And both of them are great at what they do, they couldn't convince me enough to upgrade especially with the lack of the 3.5mm input.

That reduces their functionality to DAC+Amp only instead of also functioning as a standalone high power amp.

Mine is too, most of the time. However, I do have a sense that the battery life have shortened a bit - to like 5 hours or so. But I havn't a complete overview of which file formats I was playing.

Yes, that's unavoidable, but 5ish hours for an old micro iDSD BL is not too shabby at all. How old is yours btw. ?
