That would be awesome. Thanks!
If normal BT receivers don't work you guys should definately make one. I have small kids and a three-shift work. My house is often too loud or everyone is sleeping when I have a change to blast my open back headphones. Times like that I have to leave my desktop setup and go somewhere else. That won't work if I want to listen to some hard to drive planars. I'm sure I'm not only one in a similar situation.
Ifi idsd bl and signature are one of the few portable dac/amps with plenty of power but lack of bluetooth is a problem. I need my phones USB for charging and connecting amp/dac to a phone is clumsy anyway if I want to move around. Having a wire from headphones going to an amp in my pocket and wire going from that pocket to another in my phone is not very 2021. Add in something like hedd heddphone and whole system is only barely more convenient than building a car battery powered audio setup in a trolly and push that around the house.
I hear you and perhaps one way we'll make a really powerful wireless DAC/amp to drive tough loads. For now our xCAN + xDSD combo is the best portable wireless setup we have. It's fully balanced front to back and outputs enough juice to drive most cans out there. Speaking of, which ones to you use?

Currently Hifiman Arya and Focal Stellia but I don't really have a main headphone right now. I just shipped back the heddphone because it was too heavy. I'm pondering my next move I have few options.
1) Buy Utopia. Stellia is unfortunaly not good enough after owning utopia for a year or so. Utopia is easy to drive even from a dap so I would not need the beefy portable amp. I sold it to fund trying out other stuff and it would have been interesting if I found a new "endgame" instead having to go back.
2) LCD-5, Final D8000, Susvara or something else in that direction. This scenario is where I would definately need the portable bluetooth amp/dac. I wasn't considering planars as my endgame but two weeks with Audeze LCD-R changed my mind.
3) Give up with the portability idea and go for e-stats or RAAL system.
4) Get a decent iem and log off from all audio sites for a couple of years.
5) Keep buying random stuff
I'll propably go with plan number 5. I like trying new stuff. I just wish I could try new stuff everywhere not just sitting in that chair.

I also have a micro BL which is awesome and powerful I used for my travel setup for years but I have recently switched to a DX300 with amp12 for a one box balanced solution. It’s a great sounding player with amazing battery life with the Arya or my main travel HP the Radiance it can output 7.1vrms and 1.240mw @ 32 ohm you may want to check it out for a portable solution, it is a large player.

Whoa, that's some crazy collection you have in there! If I may ask, which cans get the most usage time, and which ones aren't used at all?

When my wife next moans at me about too many headphones I’m going to show her this pic.
I salute you Sir!

I have a idea for a ifi product how about a BT receiver specifically for the mirco BL and signature series that attaches to it on one end for a transportable option many BL and Signature would see more use for travel or portable use without the extra wiring to the sourceWhoa, that's some crazy collection you have in there! If I may ask, which cans get the most usage time, and which ones aren't used at all?

I'm not entirely sure, but I think that small BT receivers with USB out already exist. Thanks for this idea though!

@iFi audio Hello again. I am still alive and I would like to ask what HQ answered about my question. And then I think everyone has forgotten.

Hi there, it's good to know that you're still among us and your question was already addressed here: https://www.head-fi.org/threads/ifi...-in-depth-review.833933/page-58#post-16579410
Please take a look at the diagram photo in that post. This graphic shows where OV op-amps are on iDSD BL's PCB.

@Cat Music it is too tough to call which sound quality I prefer between these two devices . After few critical listening eg. 52nd Street - The Body Acoustic from Chesky Records 10 Best
IMO, it depends on music genres, for Classical and Jazz music , I would prefer through iDSD Micro BL Burr Brown DAC, slightly wider soundstage aka frequency range , more sub bass ...
For modern music genres, such as pop, dance, new age, I would prefer analog output from WM1A to iDSD Micro BL, better clarity especially on the mid range frequency at 2kHz.
I like both sound signature, each has their own style of presentation .

Thanks for your feedback. As far as tuning of micro iDSD BL goes, it features a textbook iFi's house sound, which means that its general sonic profile is neutral and leans towards warmth, so in that sense puts timbre, tone and music flow before detail retrieval and air

Hey guys, thought you may be interested. Had the chance to compare my iFi BL to the Signature & Diablo at the recent CanJam (see here). Basically I preferred the Diablo, but CEntrance took the grand prize with their own competing product.
Also PS - the one-channel DAC performance of my iFi BL has self-healed. Apparently it was down to a PC software issue.

Diablo sounded quicker, didn't it ? And if I may ask, what CEntrance product was the best to you?
EDIT: OK I think I know, CEntrance Hifi M8 V2

That's great to know!

@iFi audio , Hi, I know the question is most likely stupid, but still)
Is it possible to output the signal through "direct" RCA to an external device, and then feed the signal to 3.5 aux and have it go through the headphone amplifier circuit to output 6.3?
