Are you serious? I am not asking now about those 2 chips with erased markings. I am asking about 3 operational amplifiers, the marking of which is perfectly visible in the photo, which I posted on top for everyone to access. The fact is that, as usual, I read about different audio devices and came across a previously unread black label review and saw what the author was talking about about special design operational amplifiers with the "OV" marking index ov2028 and ov2627. I checked the Ifi website and it really says about it, but I looked at my photos of the device board and saw that I have the usual 1642a and op1662. So I think what is it?We don't specify that information, sorry!

ov2028 and ov2627.
OVs are our own work indeed, but I think we started using them a good while after iDSD BL's launch. I can't recall, I'd have to check, but if in yours you see 1642A and OP1662, that's what it has.

Ok, your idea can be understood, but there is one caveat ... I checked the box and the inscriptions on the bottom of the device and it says that there are ov2028 and ov2627 operational amplifiers.OVs are our own work indeed, but I think we started using them a good while after iDSD BL's launch. As I've said, I'd have to check because it's been a several years since iDSD BL's launch, but calling me a cheater right away is a bit too much. I can see that you've registered here just recently, but please be respectful towards other HF members

Yes, I looked at myself from the outside and it was rude. I'm sorry for that. Those words I deleted

Ok now lets see ... the rudeness was unnecessary and I'm glad the apology was immediate. However, what about the OVs?? If they are mentioned in the packaging of the device, it should be there .. innit? or has the world changed while i was hibernating under a rock? Sadly i don't have my device packaging with me to check.

I've already asked internally about OVs, but these parts should be in the product. Once I have a confrination from our HQ, I'll post this info here
In the meantime, here's our very own diagram that explain where to look for them:

Is it possible to use this with some Bluetooth adapter? I need a nice portable system but I don't want to connect my phone to the dac/amp with a wire.

I'm not sure where on HF was it exactly, but recently I saw some mentioning affordable self-powered BT receivers with our iDSD BL. Can't recall whether this worked or not, though.

That would be awesome. Thanks!I would think any BT with usb or line out would work I will try it out later with my BTR5.
If normal BT receivers don't work you guys should definately make one. I have small kids and a three-shift work. My house is often too loud or everyone is sleeping when I have a change to blast my open back headphones. Times like that I have to leave my desktop setup and go somewhere else. That won't work if I want to listen to some hard to drive planars. I'm sure I'm not only one in a similar situation.I'm not sure where on HF was it exactly, but recently I saw some mentioning affordable self-powered BT receivers with our iDSD BL. Ifi idsd bl and signature are one of the few portable dac/amps with plenty of power but lack of bluetooth is a problem. I need my phones USB for charging and connecting amp/dac to a phone is clumsy anyway if I want to move around. Having a wire from headphones going to an amp in my pocket and wire going from that pocket to another in my phone is not very 2021. Add in something like hedd heddphone and whole system is only barely more convenient than building a car battery powered audio setup in a trolly and push that around the house.
