As @qsk78 said, please see what really comes out of your transport.
On a Mac I set Tidal as follows:
Use Exclusive Mode = On
Forced Volume = On
Passthrough MQA = Off
iFi Micro bit perfect filter on.
Still only a yellow LED for me.
iFi (by AMR) HD USB Audio: version 5.3c
Any ideas?
@iFi audio We know about the Volts it delivers but how many current does it deliver into 32/300 Ohm?

Also, again using my Mac, Audirvana tops out at DSD128. Is that correct?

Shouldn't it be DSD256?
I reckon there's something wrong with the unit. I also found it impossible to downgrade upgrade firmware on Mac, but it was straightforward on PC. Purple light not present with Tidal set correctly on PC either though.
Could it be that it doesn't have a purple Led.

However, no purple light and only certain DSD files available indicate that something's off with what your transport sends out. Our machine merely shows that something's not right in only way it can, through wrong LED color.
