iFi micro iDSD Black-Label - In-Depth Review

I hate to add more questions to the thread, but I'm having a slight problem. I can get the LED to change up to the Yellow LED. However, when I play the higher DSD files it stays on the Yellow LED. I can't get it to change to cyan for DSD128/DSD64 or blue for DSD256. I am listening through Foobar2000, and I have already downloaded the plugins to play everything.

I'm going to use the idsd black label to play on the computer and thought of using a sennheiser hd700 with it, is it a good choice? Does anyone have this set? liked?

Another doubt, the problem of 1-2 seconds of silence when playing a track has already been fixed? Does this issue affect normal pc use (like playing games) or is it an isolated case?

I never experienced this 1 or 2 seconds no music.

I believe that not yet. I have this delay, but only in the first song. On the next song, i don't have the delay. I can live with this problem... I love my BL.

I use my ifi bl with my phone. I turn the ifi on then I connect the ifi to my phone.

It can be adjusted on computer regarding streaming such as low latency / safe etc.
We use this for our own TV's etc.

Basically, I'm planning to use micro idsd BL with my laptop / PC, so this includes watching videos / streaming / etc.

I would like to know how many milliseconds is the 'very very minimal'.

Finally, if you can provide steps on how the computer adjustment on low latency / safe streaming, that would be really helpful.

Minimal enough that sound and vision will be in sync. But we'll ask our internal staff if they have the numbers.

Anyone experienced a battery drain issue ? I tried using my ifi with my xiaomi and my huawei phone and both drained the batteries pretty quick.

Xiaomi Phone -> IFI usb interconnect -> IFI micro BL (fw 5.30C)

I updated the firmware of the BL to 5.30C from the stock firmware but the drain still happens.

Test A: (Device and Phone on and connected but not playing any music) 20% battery drain - 45%

Test B: (Device off, Phone On and connected) 1 h 40 min, 39% battery drain.

May i know if anyone else encounters this issue?

Maybe you have it for your phone to be charging from your ifi.

Have you powered the BL before connecting it to your phone or after?

I have powered it before connecting and also tried it after, no difference, the drain is still the same.

Whats even more alarming is how the battery drain on my phone is taking place when my device is off but connected to my phone.
