When I push qq music to the ZS,dropouts occur from time to time.I checked the /var/log/mpd.log and realized it's caused by server reset.

OK, will keep an eye out for this work you’ve been doing behind the scenes for so long. But the Zen Stream firmware? Is this Neo Stream the endgame for your ZS support, or should we be expecting a “Signature” or “v2”? Why haven’t you made version 2.31.8 a stable release after over six months of “testing”?

What’s in store for those of us who have been patient throughout all the bug fixes and implementation of features that were missing but promised at launch? In Roon your populated settings suggest DSD 512 capability, but it doesn’t work. What about Volumio 3? Is this new “optical LAN” in the Neo required to achieve 786khz/DSD 512 functionality for your streamers, or is the ZS capable of this bandwidth via a firmware upgrade?

I don’t need to spend an additional $900 for the extra DAC that comes with the Neo, nor will I need the slew of inputs and outputs that it offers (although I’m impressed with them). I have been championing you for providing a “streamer only” option that is of superlative quality, once you worked out the bugs. Feels a bit like you abandoned the ZS once you got the Roon Ready functionality worked out.

FYI in addition to here, there’s an entire thread over at Roonlabs dedicated to troubleshooting the ZS Roon integration, and it’s over 3,000 posts and counting of owners offering the product support that was otherwise lacking. It’ll offer you a treasure trove of consumer insights about your product if you take the time to go through it.

would be great if the material explained what are the improvements over the Zen Stream? Other than the extra features...

What am I missing that Roon settings suggest DSD 512 capability? This is what I see for the Zen Stream...

I have never had any issues with "Roon integration" so I am curious as to what is happening in this large thread, I am a member there perhaps I could help them in some way, if you could point me to it, I would appreciate it. Also, I believe the only "promised feature" that is still missing is Chromecast, which has been addressed here many times, by many people associated with iFi at one time or another.
