I probably have a little trouble understanding how to find the information, unfortunately. Found a forum where someone wrote that the upcoming Zen Stream will have a built-in DAC?

There is no new Zen Stream...

There is however a"rumor" of a not officially announced product called a NEO Stream...

The Zen Is a Range of product, The NEO is a Range of products these "ranges" of product differ greatly in price. For example, you can buy a Zen DAC or a Zen Stream for 400 dollars and under, The NEO iDSD is a dac headphone amp costing 700 dollars, different range and levels of product.

That looks like the NEO iDSD with the Streaming function inside. I wonder how much would it differ in terms of SQ to pairing the Zen Stream with a Zen Dac Signature V2 (a stack I'm using at the moment), apart from the many extra functions that would come with this Neo Stream.

The page reference two different DAC architectures:

Come on guys, your link to buy the Neo Stream on your website at first linked to your Amazon seller login, and now it links to the old Neo iDSD on Amazon. Your blog hasn’t been updated in months, and your last entry on MQA is full of misinformation. Your Zen Stream has been stuck on a beta release since April. Your Amazon storefront is a total mess—full of obsolete gear and no recent updates for who knows how long. Your iPhone Zen Stream app hasn’t been updated for a year—and your current literature on the Neo Stream suggests that you have an app solution!

You’ve been putting out a treasure trove of great gear on your back end for quite awhile, and I love it. Maybe it’s time for your front end to get their crap together so you won’t look so unprofessional? It doesn’t inspire a lot of confidence in your brand, and I say that as a long time devotee and major collector of your catalogue.
