copy and pasted http://local.ifi but message said "can't find server"? Find scan will not download? how do i get into the IFI app. to check for updates? i thought that wired connections where updated automatically? i was in the ifi app. during set up to join my wifi network. but now that its set up i can not find it. thanks.

thanks that worked. got into the system and updated to latest firmware. so since ZS is on the same network as my MAC, will it transmit update to ZS? also bookmarked address on MAC

Yesterday I finished my Comparison of Power Supplies, I have 3 Sound Files Available in wav. format, each one taken directly from the Zen Stream. So if anyone is interested in hearing them for yourself, each is approx 18.8 mb in size.

If anyone wants to post them for me so everyone could download them...(Beyond my tiny brain) Shoot me a PM and I'll be glad to do it.

Advice please? It turns out that my Zen Stream seems to connect best via WiFi and is becoming pretty rock solid. It's in a difficult position for an ethernet connection. I read somewhere that someone has upgraded theirs by buying an after market antenna. I'm interested in trying that. Has anyone any advice on what to look for? Thanks!

Yep I got Cha, I think that was just for not wanting white, lol , can't remeber it being about better, just not white.

If I remeber correctly I think they had it around for something else, unless someone corrects me, it's just a wifi antenna, I don't think iFi put any tech in there!

But I could be wrong!

i am about 12+ hrs. ahead of EST. trying something new. i have quite the Spotify app. on my mac since that could have been a factor. and when i play albums in Tidal i will select play cue. and hopefully all tracks will not play without pausing. i suppose i could also pre-select tracks and than press play cue as well. that extra / in the address made all the difference. also hooked up the 6TB and it index all the flac. files some 20K tracks pretty cool.

it just paused again and i lost the IFI stream. got up and re-booted, selected the previous track and the stream came back on. i than selected the current track that was interrupted and now playing. funky work around. so looks like something is still amiss. i live in a hotel i might add. i have a dedicated connection from a common server. i tested the download speed today. 27mbps. the Tidal tracks never paused mid-track when streamed through the OPPO, but they it would stop 7 seconds before the end of the track sometimes. the OPPO app. was terrible as well and another reason for me to get the ZS

There's allot of setup questions because no one bothers to read or take a breath before just tearing open the box... Can't get it... Something wrong...
