Ok, so I sent a ticket into iFi and they gave me instructions on how to un-brick the unit and it worked! I had to download a couple things and re-flash the firmware via the USB-C port. Now I'm back to the setup. I did everything via ethernet and now I'm trying to stream via wifi and having issues again! argh. Don't I have to connect to the unit with a device via wifi and then connect the ZS to my wifi network? When I select my network and enter the password it goes into a spin mode and says "http://ifi.local/" and doesn't do anything! What am I doing wrong here!?

Ok so once you did the wired setup you went into the menu on iFi.local that says network and did your scan and out in your WiFi password right?

I really appreciate your help. My bad. Yes, I just put in the wifi password into the settings while in wired setup. I've got music now! But, isn't the unit supposed to show colored indicators for what the bit rate is? I have no lights at all but the tiny white LED next to power. Nothing else. I pretty much stream Tidal only so I even switched the mode selector on the back of the ZS to Tidal. No colored LED's. Any idea?

EDIT - just caught your last post about running the first config wizard! I'll do that now!

See the button on the right hand side! Give it a press, I think it's inn the manual, it's for turning the LEDs on and off

Alright so I am listening to the Zen Stream via my Linear PSU now as I am typing. Suffice to say I returned my Bluesound Node 2021...that device just didn't compare. Watch the audio excellence video and believe in what Vilip says to the letter if you wanna compare...I don't want to repeat what was said there.

Both on Roon as well as Tidal Connect, I can say this...I have not heard anything this good before.... especially with the Linear PSU. My end game is very very close

That's so awesome!!! Didn't you just know it after just a little bit that you finally had something too make streaming what you were looking for all along!!

I remeber my first thoughts, and then even how it made things like Spotify, Amazon sound so good, I just knew it was something special!!

I'm glad someone else is enjoying it!! And hearing the things we are hearing!!

Do you have the ability to get the ip address for your ZS? I use both the http://local.ifi and its ip address. If not, you can try using the app: Fing to scan for it.

copy and pasted http://local.ifi but message said "can't find server"? Find scan will not download? how do i get into the IFI app. to check for updates? i thought that wired connections where updated automatically? i was in the ifi app. during set up to join my wifi network. but now that its set up i can not find it. thanks.

I think you have to connect to the device Wi-Fi by pressing the button on the right side for 3 seconds, then connect it to your own network via the ifi.local webpage.
