iFi audio ZEN Stream - Streaming elevated to a higher plane

Only one tiny LED near the power switch lights up. No Big LED switching on. The unit seems not doing anything. This is a device that works like RPI I guess and Pi players boot their OS (Volumio) when they are switched on.
This is EXACTLY the same as mine.
I believe iFi might have a bad batch come through.

Would anyone be able to post a quick pic of the PS they got with their unit? Now that I'm looking at this further it seems like my fit in the socket is not good, where my linear is! If I hold the barrel in the correct spot I get normal power on. If not I have to hold it until it powers up.

Again guys either way just trying to help, I also have an issue, but I just discovered it thru you guys so Thank you!

Now you mention it I do recall that the tip was a VERY poor fit in the socket.
Wonder if supplied an incorrect tip?
Say 3mm instead of 2.5mm( just throwing sizes out as an example, no idea what they are or should be)

Mine outputs 12V 1.8A

The unit says it could take a range of voltages. Some hardware could do that. It could take from 9V to 15V. The current rating depends on what the device drains in a particular voltage. The brick should be able to provide the drain current specific to that voltage.

Looks it could take a range of power supplies! DC 9v/1.8A to !5V/0.8A

Now I'm confused, what SHOULD the correct PS be rated for ?
Well the rating on the back certainly says that more than one voltage is acceptable, what's confusing me right now is the completely different model numbers for the PS, unless it's a country by country thing. I'm testing something right now... will be back

Believe I did it twice after I first got it cuz of setting it up incorrectly initially, and then a second time lol
