I have wrote to support@ifi-audio.com on Dec 19. The thing is my friend wants me to listen to iDSD 2 as he bought it but I told him I don't wanna bother with the brand so he asked why and asked me to write here. I wrote as he is a huge fan of the brand.

Yes, that is one way but best to fill out a ticket with a specific issue so we can figure out what is going on for you.

Also as I said Dec 19th was shortly before quite a few folks were off for Holiday, so my apologies for this.

I already have a solution, which is to use a Topping dac. I wrote to support as also per my friend's request but for me it is already wasted money and now additional time. I won't bother with that additional ticket. For most people that delay won't be a bummer anyway and I doubt iFi will care to provide custom firmware to lower the delay time on the spdif input. I guess it is some compensator to avoid issues with old devices, which can send digital signal.

It is ok, such experience saves us money in the long run. If I didn't had issues there was a huge chance I buy the iDSD 2 as it has a clock input but now that's out of the question :)
If you found that information to contact support@ifi-audio.com, please let me know where you saw this, as I would like to point this out to HQ and have them update it with the proper support link.

I have not found it, that's why I ask

Yes, I see that but that is for you to add to your whitelist, did you get a ticket number when you filed that form? It may be in the spam folder of your email.

Normally you fill out a ticket and get an automated response with a number. I only asked because I thought you indicated you just sent an email to that address.

I want to make sure this doesn't happen to other folks.

If you got a number you can PM it to me if you like. I know you decided to move on but the issue is important especially if we get anyone else with it.

I directly sent an email yes and no I didn't had any feedback, that includes automatic one.
