I saw that on another thread, I do not know exactly how this process is working in terms of (what we create or are given access too) but I am actively looking for answers.

Now that I signed back up I am interested in sound comparison, Roon has not done this yet either so I am tempted to give Audirvana a try as well as they have.

YES! Latest Roon update seemed to solve the occasional "dropout" while streaming via the i2s output to my PS Audio DirectStream DAC. Coincidentally, my PS Audio AirLens streamer was delivered a few days later. Happy Holidaze!

Glad to hear that! Hopefully this week I will get a better chance to test this latest update, but so far it seems they have had some success. Now hopefully the Tidal Max issue will see some movement.

I use to have problems with Neo working as streamer from analog output from external usb disk, it was playing music for 10-20 minutes and then stops.
It was solved, by setting fixed IP address on Neo and my router.
But still there is a problem with break/popup sound when using with roon, it was not solved with latest roon update (I am using optical network connection).

I cannot use the newest firmware as wifi will not connect. On 2.15.7 wifi will sometimes stop working and I have to do a reset to get it to work. Airplay will work sometimes but currently it doesn't even though ifistreamer is listed as a choice. The last time I had to reset it, I had to use a android tablet to setup the wifi as my iphone and ipad would not work. I have not had the roon issue at this time. It just feels like any work on the firmware/software has stopped and I'm left to decide to just deal with it or return it. I have submitted tickets with no resolution of the issues.

When you worked with support did they ever have you do a complete USB-C (Port on back) reset? You would need a windows PC to do this.

Ok so try this,

Disconnect any LAN cables (while powered off) so all you have is the Wifi antenna connected.

Power on the unit give it one minute or so and try opening the App or using a browser to go to http://ifi.local/plugin/system_controller-network

Just copy that into your browser, if that doesn't work follow the Hotspot setup method and let me know what happens.

I am not using wi-fi, only ethernet optical connection and with fixed IP it is quite stable with automatic it restarts every few minutes. (FW 2.16.6)
