Rush is a band that I listened too all the time in High School and College. I have to admit that since building a good stereo that I have gone away from them. I think with NEO they will be back on rotation.

Seeing them live was definitely one of the best experiences. GOAT Canadian band :)

I haven’t bought an amp/dac since I got my MCTH back in 2018. This is seems like exactly what I need for my new desk Audio/gaming setup. I only really use a TH-X00 PH so it should drive it fine. Maybe I’ll get a 4.4mm balanced and get wild.

Anyone have suggestions for playing local MQA files, such as those samples available from the 2L record label, without any glitches at the beginning of playback?

Am I the only one with this problem? My searching turns up no one else who also has this problem.

Unlike playing Master tracks from Tidal, which seems so seamless on various different platforms, it's anything but when playing local MQA files on various Windows applications and through Pi systems like Moode. It seems to take varying lengths of time for MQA tracks to get recognized and sometimes there are noticeable adjustments as they unfold to various sample rates. The 16-bit tracks that could be encoded as a CD seem to fair better than 24-bit files.

Any help is highly appreciated! Many thanks!

BTW, the biggest enjoyment I've actually found since purchasing the Neo iDSD has been listening to lossless files and online streams again. Streams like ABC Classic sound phenomenal! Is it just a placebo effect or really improving upon what I was generally avoiding before?

Was hoping for others' input here. So, is this behavior uncommon then?

It's not necessarily uncommon, rather our way of getting you in our system ahead of time so our STS can help you out if there is an issue.

Even then, we'll still help ya if it's something on your system that needs to be adjusted!
