Just look at what we have here!

Yup, our iTube2 was awarded in the 'preamplifiers' category in German Fidelity Online mag. Cool!

If you're able to find something better and manageable in rather tight space, then yes. Also it's good to know that tube rolling voids warranty.

Though we read every feedback, both good and bad, yours is one of those we like the most:ksc75smile:

iCan Pro is our TOTL device, better than iCAN SE, even with iTube2 along the road.

Thanks for reply ,
I know for myself that it is better,My question right here ,how much better ?Somewhere I've read that In the single end output The function is the same and the difference in XLR out put .
I don't know Which is worth the purchase for me While I have the current composition .(IDSD + i can se +Itube2)

Regards Mori

Why don't you reach to your local iFi representative and try it out for yourself? Our return policy is generous, hence if you don't like the product, you'll have your money back.

I currently have this setup: PC > DacMagic 100 > Arcam rHead amp > various headphone. Interested in getting a Micro iTube 2 as a preamp (between the Dac and the amp) just for the tube sound.
Any issues with this?

Thank you.

No. iTube can work either as a buffer or as a preamplifier. It's up to you entirely. Though in your setup, iTube set in buffer mode and placed in-between your DAC and your headphone amp is the way to go.

Oh i see, i wasn't sure what it did in buffer mode, that's why i was think of using it as +0db preamp.
Could you please explain in more detail how both modes work and what the difference is? (I'm having a hard time finding a good explanation)
Much appreciated.

In buffer mode, iTube2's volume control circuitry is bypassed and in regular mode it is active. That's the very short version and you might want to check our official site for much more information about it:

There are parallels in sound and iCAN SE + iTube 2 will come close, certainly using iDAC 2 as source. A better source will illustrate the difference, though.

Hi, this is a bit of a long shot - but I got an iCan with the iPower power adapter with a US plug only - is there by chance anyone out there who has the EU plug accessory and would be willing to part with it? It seems it can't be ordered separately.

Thanks!

Yes, I'll be glad to help you. You'll need to pay shipping from the U.S.

You might get it faster by opening up a support ticket on the iFi site. Your choice. I'll have to package it up, take it downtown to the post office, fill out export form, etc. I don't know what that will cost? $10-15?
