iFi Audio Micro iTube2 Buffer

Yeah I know, infact before I will make the purchase, I'm gonna try those products out. And mostly because, as you said, everyone got different tastes and everyone's ears is different at the end. Said that, I also think I'm going to buy a nano iDSD or directly the iDAC2, in order to have the best sound quality possible with the iTube2 and the iCAN SE (also because they are all class A and have RCA inputs/outputs). And I do agree iFi's support is really great (which is not secondary)! I just wish we could choose between silver and black color for the all chain :weary: (the Black Label versions look so damn...sexy:sunglasses:).

Our return policy is generous, hence to try the product first is not an issue. Please feel free to contact your local iFi representative and move from there.

Photo by @ExpatinJapan from the Tokyo E-earphone show:

Easy to see the iTube2's (on top) space gray compared to the silver iCan SE and iDSD Black Label in the iFi stack:

Oh, I thought they were all the same silver tint, I just wonder why iFi decided to make their products some black and some silver, some light silver and some dark silver. I think it’s nicer looking when their color match IMO.

Yeah, I will try to do that. The only problem is I live in Italy and on Amazon.it there are only a few iFi’s products and there is only one iFi’s official reseller (which is not even close from where I live). So I will try to contact them and ask if I will be able to return the products if I won’t be 100% satisfied.

Ps: @iFi audio , are you planning to release also a black version of all your iFi’s products? That would be awesome!

Please do and *if* there are any obstacles regarding this matter, please let us know here.

Black casework is reserved for Black Label products, hence enchanced versions of already available goods.

Black colour we've covered one post above. As for bright silver versus titanium alike coating, the latter is the one we already are and will be using along the road. It looks nicer!

Yes indeed. I also think the titanium look nicer since it is darker (and it also match better with the new Mac's lineup as well). I look forward to see the micro's lineup/accessories etc. in titanium soon as well (and not only the pro series).

GE5670 reserved for flagship AMR and iFi
Press release

We have some mixed news for lovers of the GE5670.

It is our understanding that we have tracked down and acquired the last known large-scale stockpile of GE5670 tubes.

The good news is that we have amassed a respectable inventory for AMR to use in their machines and for iFi to use in their flagship ‘Pro’ series for the foreseeable future (read: years).

The bad news is that once units in the supply chain of iTUBE2s and NOS6922s are all gone, there will be no more. The recent rise in the price of the GE5670 makes it even more the right decision to not continue with using the GE5670 in this product. Given that we need to reserve 2 pcs of the GE5670 for each Pro iDSD and Pro iCAN and for the AMR 777 machines too, priority must be given to these flagship products.

History of the venerable GE5670

For those wishing to delve into the history of the GE5670 and why we chose it over its ‘lesser’ cousin the 6922:

This may be attractive for future iFi products. :deadhorse:

Oooooo, indeed! But as awesome as it looks, nothing can compare to the classic GE tubes. Glad I have my iTube2, miffed that I sold my GE 5670 pair with a cheap Chinese eBay pre-amp/filter. I thought about leaving them, out of the sale, but my logic was " When will I be needing these again? " and ya, 3 years later here we are with the NOS depleting. On the plus side, in the eventuality that my iTube2's tube dies, I gots some rolling to play around with!
