Just look at what we have here!
Yup, our iTube2 was awarded in the 'preamplifiers' category in German Fidelity Online mag. Cool!
If you're able to find something better and manageable in rather tight space, then yes. Also it's good to know that tube rolling voids warranty.
Though we read every feedback, both good and bad, yours is one of those we like the most
iCan Pro is our TOTL device, better than iCAN SE, even with iTube2 along the road.
My question right here ,how much better ?

I currently have this setup: PC > DacMagic 100 > Arcam rHead amp > various headphone. Interested in getting a Micro iTube 2 as a preamp (between the Dac and the amp) just for the tube sound.
Any issues with this?
Thank you.

Oh i see, i wasn't sure what it did in buffer mode, that's why i was think of using it as +0db preamp.No. iTube can work either as a buffer or as a preamplifier. It's up to you entirely. Though in your setup, iTube set in buffer mode and placed in-between your DAC and your headphone amp is the way to go.

Could you please explain in more detail how both modes work and what the difference is? (I'm having a hard time finding a good explanation)
Much appreciated.

Yes, I'll be glad to help you. You'll need to pay shipping from the U.S.Hi, this is a bit of a long shot - but I got an iCan with the iPower power adapter with a US plug only - is there by chance anyone out there who has the EU plug accessory and would be willing to part with it? It seems it can't be ordered separately.
Thanks!
You might get it faster by opening up a support ticket on the iFi site. Your choice. I'll have to package it up, take it downtown to the post office, fill out export form, etc. I don't know what that will cost? $10-15?Yes, I'll be glad to help you. You'll need to pay shipping from the U.S.
