I've got the same issue. I basically have no stereo sound until 11ish.

First image I have very little sound. Second image is when I finally have stereo. Only really noticeable on IEMs. I've tried messing with the iEMatch and power settings to no avail.

Hi @cadgers, what is plugged in the 4,4mm jack please ?

I doubt it. The power for the unit comes from the battery. The charge circuit is such that it probably only charges the battery. Without a battery I doubt the unit would have power even if it was connected to USB C.

Yes. micro iDSD Signature was designed to rely on its internal battery only and it can't be bypassed.

It looks like one of those ddHiFi adapters. Probably from 4.4mm to 2.5mm. https://www.ddhifi.com/productinfo/175588.html

Looks like a Thor's hammer, doesn't it :D ?

For my full size headphones, I am debating the Micro Signature vs getting a balanced cable to work with my Hiby R8. The R8 only puts out a quarter of the power of the Micro Signature though.

Have spent the last two hours on the Signature with Sony MDR ZIR. This is also a match made in heaven.

As far as I was interested in the Hiby R8, some users here were telling that the R8 and even Dx220 max aren't sufficient to move fully some difficult headphones like the Heddphone by Hedd with 42Ohms/87db. (Which is not the worse case on the market)
I own the Xduoo XD-05Plus (1W unbalanced) and this amp can produce a lot of volume but is often falling short with some DSD to give in low frequencies deep, powerful and clear impacts .. as I can get and compare with the Monolit THX887 (6W).
I already ordered months ago the controversial Centrance M8 V2 ... but, If ifi had announced months ago the project of the ifi Signature, I would certainly take it in consideration first.

Received mine yesterday. There is no channel imbalance after 10. The volume starts around 9:30.
This is my first IFI product. The unit tends to be a bit on the bright side for me with Sennheiser's and B&W P7.

Reserve final opinion until the capacitors have formed fully. Turned mine from being too bassy to being just right (like Goldilock's porridge).
