iFi audio iDSD Diablo - A portable reference done our way!

When setting the output bitdepth (ie 16/24/32) in the MacOS ‘Midi Control panel’, you are setting the highest supported bit depth that you wish to use.
You software on the computer will then be able to use all rates ‘up to‘ this setting.

(you don’t need to keep changing it here)

I can see only specific combinations (eg. 16/44.1, 32/96 etc.) when I set 32/192 (24/192 is not available) that is highest declared output from apple music, diablo is always white led. Although I play 16/44.1 that should show yellow led. this affects only apple music app that itself seems to not recognize external dac internally like roon or tidal do. it sends music to sound output set on mac os level

That's a great case. Have one for my Signature and xCAN too since I'm always moving them around.

I mean something like the volume control of audioquest dragonflies. I want to use my smartphone to lower the "input volume", so that I can get rid of the double adapters including IEmatch. Is it possible to do in the firmware?

that's all up to the device you got it connected to. works for me with the Qobuz app, also works for my linux laptop.

Be aware the Diablo can get quite warm/hot, not sure if the miter case can cause any problems with Sufficient cooling, especially in Brasil.
