Folks, regarding that aptX situation, thanks for raising the issue and here's what had happened. Basically, the Qualcomm engineers told us that for TWS earbuds, legacy aptX HD and LL support has been removed from the newer QCC chips. They advised the use of aptX Adaptive which has all the advantages of aptxHD and LL plus more.

The mistake on our end was in simplifying this info on our site/materials by saying the GO pod supported aptxHD and LL as their benefits are included in aptX Adaptive. We did not intentionally mean to mislead the consumer. Apologies!
Thank you for clarifying this matter :)

I'd strongly suggest to put a note, like an asterisk, on the website, stating that the phone must support AptX Adaptive. There are phones which have AptX HD but not Adaptive.

You see now?
I said exactly what iFi says.
I said: The way I see it, AptX HD must be supported if the smartphone supports AptX Adaptive. If your phone, like my Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra, does not have AptX Adaptive then neither AptX HD is supported.

So next time, please mind your fu...ing language :)

Are you really this dense? They just admitted their advertising was wrong because they didn't understand the Qualcomm chipset they were using themselves. They were told Aptx HD was no longer supported yet still advertised it outside the adaptive codec which is totally different. Very few phones support the aptX adaptive so it barely helps anyone right now. It's a future feature for most.

Exactly what I stated happened. I'm glad they admitted it but you still have no idea what you're talking about and that's pretty amazing. You really don't know anything about these Bluetooth codecs at all, but please keep talking, it's amusing..

Think there is a problem with either my charger or the left hand pod. Previously when placing both pods in charger a solid red light came on, now that only appears on the right hand pod. The battery status for the pods has remained static at 67%. I have not used them for the last day or so due to this issue, so the charge has not dropped below 67% but is obviously not increasing either. Anybody else experienced this, or know how to fix?

It may not be your issue, but I had a similar problem initially - putting both back into the case the right one would show the red charging light, while the left one would not. I discovered I had to gently, but firmly, push the left one in a little more, and then contact would be made. My suspicion is the tolerances on the two sides are a little different.

Yeah, thanks. I had tried that but it's not making any difference. I also gently cleaned the pod and the case with a dry cloth in case any dust or particles had got in the case but no joy. It is kinda worrying that two of us on this thread have experienced it though. I'm sure @iFi audio and/or the ever helpful @Mr BubbaHyde will be along to assist shortly.

Yeah this just happened to me as well. Just one side turned red. I had to push and push and then remount the right bud into the case for it to finally disconnect and start to charge.

The case quality is crappy at this price point for various reasons, and the not great mounting and charging system is a part of it. They cheaped out and it shows. They got us by the balls though, there really is only one other competitor in this space right now.

Now I'm worried lol. So three of us (at least) have this problem. I'm not convinced having to "push and push" to get this to work is something I want to do in case of further damage, and even if that did work who's to say it won't just keep happening.

I'm not exactly feeling great about the long-term durability of the charging system either. I know some people think the case is fine but to me the overall design of it has felt cheap from the get go.

For now I won't push, I'll just remount the bud every time if it doesn't connect.

The felt finish was a bad idea in the area above the contact points for charging, unless the contacts were more raised and robust. Also doesn't feel like there is any real magnetism in there at all, or maybe a weak bit, where pretty much any other high quality TWS buds implements it.

My GO Pods (standalone) just shipped.

That’s surprising consider it’s their home base.

It's pretty standard for them to take care of ROW first because demand is so high.
