I really like this little device but the volume control is broken. Sometimes it works fine and a lot of other times it does not. Does not register volume changes when turning the dial, then you'll randomly get a HUGE volume jump. The knob is a great interface, can use it without even looking at the device, but it doesn't work right.

I bought this a few months ago from Bloom - will iFi replace this under warranty?

I don't see any reason why repair or replacement wouldn't take place in the case of a problem like this. The best bet is to inform support as to the issue and go through the support system to obtain service.

Mine started doing exactly this, my unit was just out of warranty, after carefully disassembling, turned out to be a dry soldier joint on the smd rotary encoder (volume control), a quick re-flow with some decent leaded solder and not had a problem since (6 months ago)

I accidentally ran my spare Go Blu through the laundry. After letting it sit and dry for a few days, it works flawlessly, still.

Incredible.

Finally received my unit back after the second battery swelling. Thanks to Liam from customer support
who went above and beyond. We will see how long this battery lasts. Will be very careful when charging. Avoid any phone charger even if it slow charging 5 output volts.

This is why, despite the huge amounts of hatred Apple got for it, they used lightning connectors and tried to certify chargers.
There are absolute trash chargers and cables on the market which damage devices. Glad they fixed it up and a shame you were a victim of some shoddy engineering on whoever built such a bad phone charger.

I believe this is a pretty common issue with the Go blu. Probably a bad battery batch more than an issue with chargers.

Hello,
Until recently I used the Ifi go blu with iPhone only.

I now have a Android phone (Motorola G73 with Android 13).

It connected via Bluetooth LHDC V3/V4.
The sound improvement was obvious but it had some terrible distortions.
I updated to Firmware 3.17 via Gaia App, but it was still with distortions.

Inside the App I deactivated LHDC and it connected to LDAC.

With LDAC there is no distortion at all.

Unfortunately I experienced that the sound was better with LDHC.

Anybody with the same experience?
It would be nice to use LDHC without distortion.
