500+ Head-Fier
Did you upgrade the firmware or not . I just begin to test and sound seems really dark ... with erlkoning black which are not dark iem lol….
I get hiss on my final B2 and Moondrop starfield iems over 4.4mm.Go Blu sounds great, has a beautiful timbre, but hiss a lot, mostly by 4.4 but also a little by 3.5. By 4.4 the noise is so loud that you can't focus on the music. Is it normal? Do I have any defective product? (I'm listening with an iPhone)
As far as i know, i can't update via iphone.Did you upgrade the firmware or not . I just begin to test and sound seems really dark ... with erlkoning black which are not dark iem lol….
I have Meze 99 balanced, Duznu Zen balanced/single ended, both hiss. Koss Porta Pro and Sony MH755 they do not hiss.I get hiss on my final B2 and Moondrop starfield iems over 4.4mm.
My Aeon 2 open, Beyerdynamic T5p and Audeze LCD-2 closed all sound fantastic over balanced.
I think iems do sound better over single ended on this but since I use balanced on other devices I’m happy to live with it. When you are out and about you definitely can’t hear it.
I did the same. My 7Hz Timeless came with a 4.4 but it's the only one I've got. All the rest are 2.5. I like the DD HiFi Adapters because of the 90 degree angle. I dont really see a need to replace the 2.5 cable with this thing. Anyway, I too am looking forward to getting my hands on one of the Go Blu'sI'll receiving one of these soon. So is there a big difference in SQ between SE and balanced using IEMs?
I don’t own any 4.4 cables ,so I ordered a 2.5 to 4.4 adapter.
The Timeless is getting great feedback from a lot of people. I would have gone for one if hadn't bought too much already. It's nice to see more good planar IEMs though.I did the same. Assuming you are on iPhone. The firmware update fixes the using it as a single issue.I got mine in a few days early today from Bloom Audio. I’ll comment later on a comparison vs the BTR5, but initial impressions are it’s close enough to be masked by Bluetooth limitations. Here are a couple other observations when hooked up to an iPhone 13.
1 - I was hoping for better Bluetooth range over the FiiO and so far it seems about the same, it may reach a lot better but it’s still very limited when compared to my AirPods
2 - I can hook my BTR5 and use as a wired dongle on my phone, when I hook this thing up I get an error saying to draws too much power so those looking to run like like a dragonfly off your phone be warned it may not work.
3 - The one area where this has an advantage over the FiiO is the addition of xbass and xspace. Those are both very tastefully implemented and pair particulars well with my Dunu SA6, I find these to work better than what I’m able to achieve with the EQ on the FiiO
About to get the iFi Audio GO Blu. Would you suggest a firmware update if there is one available?

Will be possible to add via fw update at some stage as feature to add multipoint pairing or is that impossible?
