Go bar and gold bar are the best amp i have ever heard. Not only portable! I have them both updated to the latest firmwaire. Gold go bar sucks if it is using old firmwire version!

I had/have mojo2, grayphon, h20, v281, 09plus, dragonfly and a $5000 300b amp. Head phones: hd800/dan clark noire/dan clark e3/b&w p9 and some iems.

Guess what? The little go bar blow all above amps out of water.
!!!These little thingys soud so real !!!
I start to doubt about the world that I am living in.

Anyhow, go bar offers the best soundstage and imaging I have ever heard, but it had to be connected to a desktop. It is not as good when using with cellphones.

However, one issue is that when driving the new dan clark e3, the sound could be a bit bright (upper mid with bright records) to my ears. It feels like more power is needed to control the e3? Could diablo2 or hugo2 make things better - knowing that i prefer the overall sound of go bar over mojo2 while also feels that mojo2 slightly smooths the upper mids.

A nice elegant way to carry Go Bar on a magsafe iPhone, 15 Pro in my case with ddhifi right angle USB-C to C cable.

Obviously the volume is not easily accessible but the volume sync feature overcomes that issue.

Which firmware do you advise for the original go bar? And can i downgrade firmware if i want in future?

My iPhone X lasted me six years so in that regard you have another year to go to get the 16

The card sleeve holding the Go Bar attaches to a phone case via the mag safe on the back of the case.

You would need an iPhone 11 mag safe case, a quick google seems to suggest that they are still available despite the phone being a bit older.

And regarding that other nonsense on the other iFi forum, I am with you. I get his sentiment but I think he is well out of line and is taking the whole anti iFi thing way to far, you do well to deal with it as professionally as you do.

i’ve been enjoying BP for the major part of my listening experience. The Go bar is so pleasing of a dongle done well.
