Hi there. New here. I just got the Gold Bar explicitly for use with my iPhone 12 Pro, but I haven’t been able to get it to work even once. I even bought two different OTG lightning adapters. No luck.

I know the Gold Bar works, as it works fine on my MacBook Pro. So I don’t think it’s DOA.

So what are the chances we’ll get a fix to this soon? Feels like a premium beta product…

If there’s no imminent fix, I might courier mine back within the 15 day return period.

Since I bought this explicitly for use with my iPhone while on vacation, which I am now on, not having it has me pretty bummed. As my first IFI product, this isn’t the best introduction.

There is clearly a bigger issue here and I’m now just contemplating getting a refund.

Have you tried connecting the OTG cable after turning on the DAC?

I recently got a OTG lightening cable and it didn't read my Diablo unless I had the DAC on first then I plugged in the OTG into the DAC.

Any expected ETA on a resolution or even a reasonable expectation of a resolution?

I have iPhone 12, all latest iOS + latest firmware, both GO and GOLD work with the iPhone I have. Mine is with 'lightning' connection. But this is not a "pro" version. Just my 5ct, may be theres a light at the end of the tunnel.

Yeah, it seems to be a problem with the Pro/Pro Max models. Thanks for the feedback though - means there may be hope

Why don't they just put clear instructions on how to update?
Mac instructions on their web page are vague at best

I tried to drive Diana Phi. The volume was okay, still having some headroom, but sounds a bit thin comparing to my full chain. It is acceptable considering its size.

Today, I listened to it 6 hours with Dunu Est 112. I like it!

It ran very hot tho after a few hours.

what power supply you using? if connecting from phone or pad it may not perform at its' best
