I'm quite satisfied with the sound quality of GOld bar, then last piece is the connection with iPhone.

When is the new firmware likely to be released, which fixed the issues connecting GOld bar with iPhone?

iPhone 11 Pro Max here and it works beautifully with the Gold Bar using the included OTG cable as well as my own.

I did update the FW to 1.70a

It was good for you!, but not the case for my iPhone 13 Pro Max 1TB.... I found in the Twitter that iPhone 12 Pro Max user also has the same issue in Japan.

For the time being, I've been enjoying GOld bar with included C-C cable through Audirect Lightning-C connector.

Hope it will be fixed soon :)

i finally got the Bar in the UK and whilst it worked in the shop, today is nada on iPhone 13Pro,
What's the deal with updates, why would a company charge £330 and then ask me to have a Windows so i can use a product😰

Tbh, I wouldn’t throw so much into ifi’s field and go towards apple on this one. The stubbornness of remaining with its dumb connector. I haven’t played any dongles with anything but my old iPhone X when I still had it, and usb c was way more powerful, i don’t know If power delivery changed in iPhone 12, 13 or 14 betamax plus or whatever model it’s on right now. Both android and iOS has its flaws but in the hi fi field, android has the higher ground

Download the compressed file which contains a folder with both versions for Windows and for MacOS (incorrectly labelled as IOS).
Run one of the DMG’s, depending on if you want 1.70 or 1.70a.

hi everyone, I am new to the forum and Go Bar.
I have been using Go Bar for a week with my iPhone 11ProMax.
The sound is impressive with my Westone B50.
But I am quite disappointed by the stock lightning type C OTG cable as it starts to worn out after one week usage. The total hours of usage is less than 10 hours.

Dose ifi sell the OTG separately?
Or is there any recommended aftermarket OTG cables?
